INTERVIEW: SPIRIT LEVEL TALK TO ILJA LAPPIN FROM THE HIRSCH EFFEKT
Following a successful run in support of their latest album ‘The Eskapist’ in 2017, German tech-metal band ‘The Hirsch Effekt’ return to the UK this weekend for Tech Fest and a headline show at London’s The Black Heart.
We spoke to bassist Ilja Lapin ahead of their return to the UK to talk about everything from the bands inception and writing process to the struggles of playing experimental metal music in Germany and the contrasts between the UK and German underground scenes. You can hear the full interview here…
