SINGLE REVIEW: JONESTOWN - THE PEOPLE'S TEMPLE

British Metallers ‘Jonestown’ are back with a blindingly brutal new single ‘The People’s Temple’ ahead of their upcoming sophomore record ‘DYATLOV’. Following in the same vein as their 2016 debut ‘Aokigahara’, ‘The People’s Temple’ builds on the bands formula, but cranks up the heaviness to a whole new level. Clocking in at 5 and a half minutes, ‘Jonestown’ refuse to slow down throughout; cramming in as many riffs and blast beats as physically possible. There are enough shifts and changes in ‘The People’s Temple’ to maintain the listeners interest whilst we wait eagerly for the rest of the album release.
